Expert Mode

This option provides larger viewports for those familiar enough with 3D Studio MAX to operate it using keyboard shortcuts.

Reference

When selected, the menu bar, toolbar, command panels, status line, prompt line, and all of the viewport navigation buttons are removed from the display, leaving only the 3D Studio MAX title bar, time slider, and viewports.

How To

To turn on Expert Mode

• Choose Views/Expert Mode.

To turn off Expert Mode

• Click the Cancel Expert Mode button to the right of the time slider to return to full display.
