GIF Files

GIF is an 8-bit (256-color) format developed by Informix for the CompuServe information service. It was originally designed to minimize file transfer times over phone lines.

GIF is also the native file format for Autodesk's Animator Pro (an MS-DOS application).

There are no file Setup options for this file format in 3DS MAX.
