Insert Time

Use the Insert Time button to insert time and remove time from selected tracks.

Inserting time adds time at a selected point in your animation. Removing time is a way of deleting time, or inserting negative time, in your animation without deleting any keys.

How To

To insert positive time into tracks:

1. Select item labels in the Hierarchy list to select tracks for time editing.
2. Click Insert Time.
3. Drag to the right anywhere in the edit window to insert time into the selected tracks.
• Time is inserted and the start point defined wherever you place the cursor and click.
• As you drag to the right, time is inserted after the start point. The inserted time appears as a dark bar in the selected tracks.
• All keys to the right of the start point in the selected tracks slide right as time is inserted.
