LenzFX provides you with nine preview windows. The main preview window in the upper left-hand corner of the LenzFX dialog box shows you the complete scene. The eight smaller preview windows in the upper right corner show the individual parts of the lens flare. Each small preview window has a check box below the window to activate it.
All of the preview windows are multi-threaded to increase redraw speed and take advantage of multi-processor systems. When you make an adjustment to a lens flare properties and the preview window(s) is active, the preview updates automatically. A white line at the bottom of the main preview window indicates that it is updating.
The main preview window has three controls:
Preview: Displays a generic lens flare for you to use to make adjustments. This button must be active for any preview to be active.
Update: Lets you manually update the preview window, including the smaller windows, at any time.
VP Preview: Lets you view the video post frame in the preview window. Both Preview and VP Preview must be active to use this feature.
The preview windows are also dependent on the lens flare options you have turned on in the Preferences.
