Map Scaler maintains the scale of a map applied to an object. This lets you resize the object without altering the scale of the map. Typically, you might use this to maintain the size of a map regardless of how the geometry is rescaled.
Note that this WSM modifier warp is designed primarily for vertically oriented walls, such as those in an architectural model. Its use on other forms will be unpredictable.
Scale: Represents the size of one repeat of the texture pattern. Size is measured in current scene units. Repeats occur across the object in the U direction. The default scale is 100.
Wrap Texture: When checked, Map Scaler attempts to wrap the texture evenly around the object. This option requires more computing, but usually produces the most satisfactory results.
World Z Axis : Choose this to align the map with the Z axis of the world.
Note: If you choose this option, when you rotate the object, the mapping will not rotate with it, but remain fixed to the world coordinates.
Local Z Axis: Choose this to align the map with the local Z axis of the object.
