Strokes Utility

This utility lets you launch commands by dragging mouse patterns in the viewport. When you click the Strokes utility button, and modeless dialog appears containing a single “Draw Strokes” button. The Strokes system is also available as a middle-mouse button option that doesn’t require the utility or the modeless dialog.

Strokes Parameters

Draw Strokes: Click this, and then drag in the viewport to draw a stroke

How To

  1. Select Strokes in the utility panel
  2. Click Draw Strokes
  3. Click and hold the mouse while dragging in any pattern.
  4. Release the mouse button.

    5. A dialog box appears asking you to define the pattern or continue.

  5. Click define.

    6. The define stroke dialog box appears.

  6. Choose a command from the command to execute Area.

    7. The pattern is now defined for the chosen command.
