An Enhanced CD is an audio CD with multimedia content that can be played on both audio CD players and computer-based CD-ROM players. The Reba Enhanced CD is filled with graphics, photos, videos, and multimedia content. Minimum Requirements PC: IBM compatible 486 66MHz or faster, Windows 3.1 or higher, 16 megabytes RAM, 640 x 480 256 colors (8 bit) display, four speed or faster multi-session CD-ROM drive with Enhanced CD compatible firmware, 16 bit 22kHz sound card. For Best Viewing: This program was optimized for a 640 x 480 monitor set to High (16bit) color. It is OK to use larger screen sizes. Starting The Reba Enhanced CD: Be sure that you have QuickTime installed on your computer. If you are not sure, you can run the installer supplied on this disk. See Installing QuickTime later in this Read Me file. For Windows 3.11 users: Double-click the "START311.EXE" located in the same directory as this Read Me file. If the colors do not appear properly, make sure that your monitor is set to at least 256 colors. See the minimum requirements above. For Windows95 or greater: Double-click the "START.EXE" located in the same directory as this Read Me file. Installing The Reba Screen Saver: You can automatically install the Reba Screen Saver from within the Enhanced CD program. If you would like to install it from the disk, you can run the appropriate installer from the "SAVER" folder inside the "INSTALL" folder. Installing The Reba Browser: You can automatically install the Reba Browser from within the Enhanced CD program. If you would like to install it from the disk, you can run the installer from the "BROWSER" folder inside the "INSTALL" folder. The Reba Browser on this disk is available for Windows 95 only. If you are using Windows 98, NT, or need a newer version, go to http://www.reba.com/rebabrowser to download a compatible version for you computer. What is QuickTime and why do I need it? QuickTime is a system software extension that enables your computer to play the videos and interactive content for this CD. Most newer computers have this extension installed, but some models may not. We have included the QuickTime software on this disk that you can install. Installing QuickTime: Locate the "QTIME" folder inside the "INSTALL" folder. There are appropriate folders for your system. Window95: Open the Windows95 folder and double-click the "INSTAL32.EXE" file. It will prompt you through the rest of the process. Windows 3.1: Open the Windows 3.1 folder and double-click the "QTINSTAL.EXE" file. It will prompt you through the rest of the process.
