Hello, Andreas:
You asked why: the ARexx error reporting scheme is easily confused when there
are certain error types. Using unbalanced quotes may be one way to confuse it,
but the script usually refuses to run, at my end, making it difficult to find
the incorrect line, even with a TRACE.
Is the line line wrapped by the mail system or was it written this way? There
is no comma.
