Afraid not... sounds as if Paula has handed her notice in as she deals with
disk and serial matters and a few other things as well as sound.

Do you have a decent electronics repair man nearby? It could be dodgy
joints, but equally, it could just be old age. It would probably be cheaper
to buy a new S/H A1200. My local CC knocked them out for less than a tenner
when I bought the last five they had.
