But if the system finds a clock, and it's corrupted, it will ALWAYS set it
to 1970-01-01 00:00:00 - which is no use really, is it?
I've never ever ever had my Amiga use the date on my SYS: partition,
except when I take my accelerator out. A corrupted clock means you
end up reliving the 70's :)
You can easily set your clock when you go online though, which will
enable you to send emails with dead accurate times: look for 'atomic'
or 'facts' on Aminet, and install one. I'd recommend the former, 'cos
it's smaller and it's ARexx. FACTS IMO is a little clumsy :)
