To put it another way, TAO adds silences between the music tracks, you
can even make them a little longer than they are in most of todays's
compilations ( and that's nice, time to breathe, like with good old LP's...
;) whereas DAO enables you to edit continuous sound ( for example a live
concert ) without any gap between the numbers or in the middle of the
applause - and of course still creates an index for each track.

Obviously the full ( DAO ) version allows you to use either, and isn't
much more expensive.
