Hi Don
I have sent another mail with more detail, so maybe that'll aid somewhat
more....

Nothing, just the hard disk, and nothing on the external connector.

Well it's giving me problem here. One thing that could be a problem is that
it was used on a AmigaOS 3.x machine, would AmigaOS 2.x as on this A3000 be
able to understand it? Could it be that this is the problem?

I have founs details of all the jumopers and have adjusted them accordingly.
Note that the machine won't even boot currently to the superkickstart menu,
where as before on the default settings it did, but either way, the Amiga
doesn't recognise or doesn't like the hard disk.

I thought all A3000s were shipped with these beta chips, and i also thought
it was removable media drives that caused the problems, not a static media
like hard disks.

It is indeed set to (in the case here) scsi.device, SCSI Mounter shows
nothing as well.

But would this cause the no bootup at all problem?
Thanks for the valued advice! :)
