But, that'd only happen if your hd corruption somehow made the
keyfile mutate into one identical to the pirate one. Keyfiles work
by using some kind of encryption (usually of user name/address)
followed by a checksum. If the keyfile is invalied, it'd either say
so, or be rejected.
Only the keyfile matching the certain user name of the pirate
version would trigger the anti-pirate hd bomb. Or at least thats
how it should be done (maybe without the hd bomb tho)...
IIRC, there was actually a virus checker that corrupted the rdb of
anyone using the pirate keyfile. The author removed this feature
though
