That's virtually the same system as mine. My random crashes ended when I put
back the original 8mb simm into the viper V and removed the 16mbFPM memory I
had bought. I ran the system for ages with an A500 block with no problems.
The cause of other random crashes I had turned out to be the Ebola link
virus.
Could it be there are no SCSI deviced attached?
