Hi
Well my attempts to connect both the Quantum and Fujitsu drives up together
to solve the problem have failed. :-( I tried with the Quantum as the
Terminated end, and the Fujitsu drive. Basically the machine would not boot
with both drives, as per with just the 1gig Fujitsu drive.
I have just been on the phone to Analogic about their 540MB SCSI drives at
it in, changing the jumpers and going? Or is it likely I'll have the same
problem, again - and then have three SCSI hard disks!! :)
I don't really want to have to pay for this, but i need it, so i'll have to.
At least two hard disks can fit in the place of the holder Quantum drive
which was a full height 3.5" device, all 40MB of it!! :) (Still it has
Final Writer 5, OS 1.3 and 2.1 installed, DPaint III, the GoldenGate 386
software, Windows 3.1 and MS-DOS 5.0 - amazing what you can do with just
40MB :))
Can somone verify before i ring back and order it! :) (At least this drive
comes with some paper documents on the jumpers!)
