Maybe the search could point to a page in the manual and also give a brief
description so that ppl would buy the origional to get hold of the manual
and not the pirate version and yet still have a basically helpful help
guide -- I still like the idea of balloons or when the pointer is over a
particular place/button etc and the help key is pressed, a help file is
opened.

I Particularly hate reading large help files --- short ones are fine like
some readme first and also, the Amigaguides, I end up reading just the
installation bit which I have to copy so that I dont have to keep flipping
backwards and forwards -- a book is certainly better.

Personally I would be more inclined to get the origional due to the manual
--- eg Cinema 4D which was given away, not that I really use it also had
the option of buying the full thing with a manual for 20 pounds so I did
even though it free version was nearly the same as the full version.
A serial number could be inbedded in the main program or one of the vital
bits of the program so that it will be more difficult to find and extract.
(Or maybe several -- talk about bloatware, program 2Mb, security code
within code 80Mb with 400Mb of security checking and encription software
-------- that will snooker them :-)) )

Flavvy

PS I would just ask people who buy pirated software to also send a cheque
for the full amount to the authors of the software -- might work . :-/

Quote carefully and read all ADMIN:README mails
