Well, perhaps apart from complaining about anti-piracy measures you
come up with a good system that would prevent the requirement?

I can't see entering a serial code into the installation program being
a "complete pain". 15 seconds to type in 16 numbers? Of course, this
solution isn't great because serial codes can be e-mailed off or
uploaded to a web site in the same time.

Sure, legitimate users take the kick in the pants, but then, there is
always one that spoils it for the rest.
