I use BT Internet because of the free calls basically. For £9.99 it's a bit
of a rip-off in comparison to RedHotAnt, but at least I can connect every
time :-P The mail service has been a bit crap recently, I even got one
monthly fee deducted because I complained about it, but just recently it's
been abysmal. Someone sent me an e.mail on Friday and it hasn't reached me
yet.

As for the 52x CD-ROM, it's OK. It can take a while to spin up, and while
it's doing that it tends to halt the MP3's playing in the background, but
apart from that, and the fact that it sounds like a small particle
accelerator whilst in use, it's no problem. It handles gold CD's fine. It
only cost me £30, and I wanted it because my old 8x drive didn't do DAT, so
I couldn't encode MP3's from the music tracks (the AIFF files kept getting
screwed up as they were made)

Cheers,
GazChap.
