3Com ISA cards really suck dick. You can't decide whether you like an entire
company or not based on a single, probably lame, card. And their lower-end
hubs seem to suck dick as well, but the big chunky routers we have at work
seem to serve our buildings fine - apart from that time when the network
decided that it would go half-duplex at one end, and full duplex on another,
but that was down to one of the network cards in one of the servers dying
(a DEC I think..) and the router somehow getting confused..

The 3C905 series are bloody nice though. We only had one problem with them
regarding boot roms - i.e. we can't use them - but none others really. The
performance is good, the price is good (£50 odd for the nicest ones) and they
have tons of neat features.

Much better than those lame-o NE2000 clones that the idiots seem to think
we should recommend :)
