It certainly is and is now tempting me to get a mediator thingy even more
now.. (now where is the nearest post office to rob..)
I assume that there isnt much point actually getting one of pci boards if
you dont have a PPC board? (like I dont have :-/ ) currently I have a
Ateo/Pixel64 setup and am wondering what kind of advantage I would get
using a, for eg a Voodoo3 over my Pixel64? I assume that the screen
modes/depth and redraw speeds would be far higher.
I also bought a Ethernet card for my ateo but could get it to play ball so I
think that would be another advantage of getting one. yep, I think that if
I can find a way of getting approx 200ukp I will get one of these mediator
boards and a voodoo3
I suppose it still comes down to the availability of software drivers for it
again :-/
(and whether running it on a 040/25mhz/48Mb will be worth it, AND since the
new miggy is around the corner (supposedly))
