The one in question was an EISA one rather than ISA, using the Vortex
chipset rather than the Etherlink III one. Pretty near top of the range
for its time. Still, you're right - my current hatred of the 3com
corporation and all their minions is somewhat irrational :) I'm
unconvinced that they're entirely worth the excess they cost over some
other manufacturers, though. If they had a more attractive corporate logo,
I'd be more forgiving...
