No he didn't. That was Neil. I know that there's two levels of quoting
there rather than one, but even so a brief glance would give the
impression that John had written that. In this case it's not much of a
problem, but occasionally doing something like that can make it look like
somebody has said something that they had no intention of saying which can
end up being embaressing at best. Being careful about attributing quotes
is a Good Thing.
