Just to throw a few more things into the pot ...

(please feel free to correct any errors in my thinking :-)

I always thought that the basic way AGP works is that the graphics
card has it's 16/32Mb of fast "cache" memory but also has direct
access to the main system memory so that if it needs more it can grab
it (and so the host machine can uploads textures etc to the
board) ... am I right in this ?

If I am right (you never know :-) then the Predator board and
CyberStormPPC/BlizzardPPC may be able to deliver reasonably fast
graphics because the AGP card could have direct access to the memory
on board the Predator itself (that DIMM socket), in which case the
AGP could be running full speed on the Predator and the bottle neck
being the Predator to CyberstormPPC/BlizzardPPC interface.
