Hardly, I can see a veritable ton of PCI S3 Virge, ATI Rage, nVidia TNT and TNT2
and 3dfx cards around here. All nicely priced as well, sometimes much cheaper
than their AGP counterparts.
The new Intel 815E chipset has a graphics chip built in, and they don't make no
odds about it sucking up the AGP capabilities of the motherboard (i.e. there is
no AGP slot). Replacing the gfx card means using a PCI card. And guess what?
ELSA announced (released?) a GeForce2 PCI card not long back..
You'll go to the ball, Cinders, just don't expect it to be 'fast' ;)
