Hi David,
Do you have two ide devices on one cable, as I have noticed
problems with some ide cables connecting two devices, such as hard drive and
cd, need the first connector to go to the hard drive as master, and the top
connector to the cd as slave. Another possibility if the ide interface on
the motherboard is connected to 2.5" drive it won`t boot if another device
is attached on the same 3.5" connector.
Also I thought that the demo software if used with an ide interface could
only be used to connect upto a maximum of two devices, I think that I may be
confusing two poster`s here with this last thought. Have you tried switching
the ide connectors around and then booting your Amiga to see what happened?
