Aren't they? Does anyone else have more information on this, like what the
modifications are? Or the whereabouts of UK repairers, if indeed they do
exist?

I didn't buy it from phase5 though, mine is second hand, so that would
probably not be viable in my case. DCE charge now anyway, apparently.
