Subject:SMS On Amiga

Hello,

First of all, I can send them using my Amiga (I just use SMSSuiteSP1.lha
from Aminet) but they aren't 'networks' as such, just websites that forward
messages on to phones, so they take a long time sometimes.

I've seen lots of programs that have lists of networks built in, but they
have the number set to +44xxxx which means the mobile number has to start
with xxxx before it is recognised as being on that network. For something
like UK VODAFONE, this isn't always the case.

So, basically, what I'm asking, is there any program that lets you define
your own message centre (i.e. vodafone's is +44385016005) and send messages
via that?

Alternatively, is there any info on the SMS format anywhere? I'll write one
myself if there is :-)

Catch ya later,
GazChap.
