Take a look at Linux Format, which should be newsagents. It's mainly aimed
at PC users, but much of it is relevant.

It multi-tasks, it has a graphical user interface (but it's probably not
worth bothering unless you have a reasonably fast 680x0 or a PPC and a
graphics card) and it doesn't run Amiga software.
