I've experienced it myself for the last few years and it's f**kin' annoying.
It may just be the lack of carriage returns or something cropping up again,
but if I made a guide saying...

@DATABASE blah
@NODE Main "Main"
Blah
@ENDNODE
[... rest of guide ...]
@NODE LastNode "Last Node"
This is the last node in the guide.
@ENDNODE
-----------------------------------
Then, if I clicked on a link to the last node, it would just show a blank
screen, not "This is the last node in the guide." so to counter that I
always put an extra node at the end of the guide containing nothing in it at
all. This seemed to fix the problem, but if it's just a lack of carriage
returns, then it's furry muff :-)
