1. If you don't have a PPC or at least an 060/50, forget it, it'd
be too slow

2. Unlike a mac emulator etc. It totally replaces Amiga OS when
you
run it (you can still use your amiga though. but not at the same
time).

As for linux itself, if you get the LinuxAPUS1999 install CD (ppc
only) then you'll have a Windows type environment installed, which
multitasks better and is faster than the Amiga OS, and does have
support for more programs (netscape etc.)

3. It is a complete, total and utter, *pain in the ass* to install
(you can quote me on that, I've installed in on my amiga :). If
you're not an expert user, forget it :)

Oh yes, it also needs two of it's own partitions on hard drive.

Anyway, if you want more support for other systems software, and
don't want the hassle of trying to use Linux, get a mac emulator or
something, they're much easier to use :)
