Didn't you listen the first time? MIPS means zip. You could get just as much
use out of your 14MIPS processor as out of your 60MIPS processor if you
only use 10MIPS.
WRT hidden *line* removal, what for? Shouldn't you be using a Z buffer?
Unless you're planning on an original Battlezone clone ;)
And concerning 3D gaming, you'd be better off learning OpenGL and
toying with that than making your own engine. Unless you plan on a
super-quick software renderer that would be Warp3D-able in which
case go right ahead ;)
