I guess you've tried booting with the PPC disabled (holding the 2
key)? You need to disable the board and your harddrives before
flashing it.
Have you tried just leaving it switched on for a few minutes to see if
it springs into life? I had a blizzard 1260 that needed to be powered
up for more than a few minutes before it would boot reliably
