I think the Temic TSOP18xx (where xx is the demodulation freq.) has the same
function - but I don't know if it's pin-for-pin compatible. Maplin used to
sell this range but discontinued it a while ago (along with everything else
useful).
Maybe CPC or Farnell can still supply them?
