I go along with everything you say there. At least some people don't like
live with there heads in the sand. ;)
One of the amazing pardoxis with people who are dyslexic has been linked to
uncommonly high levels of intelligence, creativity, imagination and abstract
problem solving ablites. Something people who are not dyslexic seam to have
problems with.
Persional I am rather sorry for people who are not dyslexic, I know if
wasn't dyslexic I wouldn't have the computer abilities that I do have.
Just a point of intrest here that dyslexic people don't think in letters or
numbers they profer pictures. The reasion for this is not to well know
yet. There are some ideas but no hard facts. Some dyslexic have problems
with shapes as well.
Now I persionaly have a problem with words like "Who", "How" I have hard
time working out which is which. A quick look at words like "Internet",
"Interest" gets me thinking that realy the other word. I see Internet as
Intreset or the other way round. But I find it very easy to read upside
down.
I tend to program in bursts (what I call). I can not be there for more then
half and hour without have to leave the computer. Sometimes it way to much
for me and have to go and have walk down in local park. I love to program,
big time. But geting bored at doing rather quickly is problem for me.
Also walking helps a lot to sorting things out in my head. I have found
that I have working version of program done before someone who doing
samething how dosn't gone for a walk. I think this walking lark could help
anyone out, not just dyslexic people like me.
If you sow me at WoA'99 I had lot people who wanted to talk to me about
ideas about programing. Now people didn't just come to talk to me it was
just things I was saying to some people which drew in a crowed, which made
bigger crowed. It was getting rather big and freind of mine sow that
didn't like what was happing. Now also being dyslexic I am a very shy
persion, which lot more you would be able to relate to. So he sead I had
phone call, which was just lie to get out of it all. Oups, you all know
now. Sorry about that, I hope you understand.
Now Egyptians were world leaders in the past, everything they write was in
picutres, it could been because they were a majorty of dyslicks. There no
proof of this as say but it has a strong case.
It is fact that dyslexic people make better programers, very successful at
music, major plays in the business world. Also it rather starge that
dyslexic seem to gain mass public admaration and become major icon's of
world society.

Well put it this way, you wouldn't be able to go line if wasn't for a
dyslexic persion.
To put it bluntly I am glad that I am dyslexic. I am ready to read your
reply's but it would be 10x harder for me that would be for you without
dyslexia. Dyslexia is a fact, it exists, there are no if or but's in it.
If you want to think dyslexic dosn't exists well keep you head sand are
nock endless research say it douse. If you know any research that says
dyslexic dosn't exist please tell me, good luck!
