Well done for making the connection between the tagline and my fav
technology gone mad story. It's a story I've heard many times with
variations. I first read it in a management training guide
and was referred to as "Beware of the Space Pen Solution". i.e. make
sure any solution to a problem is not more expensive than the
inconvenience of the problem.
