I have this problem with names. I learned a long time ago not to call
anyone by name if I can help it. That way you can't tell if I've forgotong
your name or not. My worst nightmare is meeting a large group of people in
one go as I can't abosorb anything said to me (So don't arrange anything
important with me on the first day of the WOA!)
I have some level of control over such things as writing as I have word
patterns remembered as tunes. You may notice I tend to go on a bit, its a
side effect of this. I don't try to think of spelling or individual
letters in a word, I just hum the tune. It works most of the time.
I can't figure out tunes for numbers though so I can't deal with them at
all.
