See the Amiga Watchdog [http://web.ukonline.co.uk/d.hutchinson/awd/]
site. Enough people aware of and using this resource, and it makes it
lots tougher for scammers to continue their market abuse.
Though Amiga Inc have stated their reasons time and time again for not
pursuing development for "The Original" I can't help but think that it
might help if they at least participated in efforts to clean up abuses
of the Name they've purchased, even if just to publicize support of such
a resource as Amiga Watchdog while behind the scenes investigating and
applying pressures (which I must guess is happening in at least some
cases). How about it Gary?
Expect Phoenix to link there too. I figure any Phoenix developers ought
to be able to take scrutiny of their business practices. The whole
market suffers - users and developers and dealers and publishers - when
flim-flammers are raking it away from honest practitioners.
