Yes, different sizes plugs.

There are two types of keyboard socket on the Amiga: the large 5 pin (same
as PC's AT) one, and the small 6 pin one (as PC's PS/2).
In full,
AT socket:
A2000, A3000, A3000T, A4000T
PS/2:
A4000 Desktop

They're fully compatible, you just need the adaptor and any old one intended
for a PC will work. I got a PS/2->AT with an A4000T and an AT->PS/2 from
Insight UK which work with all combinations of A2k, A4kT, A4k, AT PC, ATX
(PS/2) PC machines and A2k, A4k, AT and PS/2 keyboard.
Do a search on http://www.insight.com/uk/ for an "AT keyboard to PS/2 computer
adaptor" - cost about £2 IIRC, and I'm sure places like Power Computing and
Eyetech stock these. With postage, it's probably cheaper from a local
computer shop, cheap enough that it's not really worth making one yourself.
