Subject:Amiga Piracy

Hi

I'm just interested in knowing about the piracy that is occuring on the
Miggy ATM. A short while ago, I assumed that piracy of Amiga software
died at the same time the general public thought the Amiga had died.

I think I've read of Dopus, OS3.5, Wipeout and some clickboom games being
pirated. Does anyone know where this is going on? It is really easy to
find pirated PC software on the net but I've never come across modern
Amiga software and Mac software on the net and I know a few dodgy PC
owning mates who only get their software from the net. They tell me that
they have never seen any modern Amiga software either. (Excluding dodgy
ADF files for WinUAE.

So who is finding out about it or is poor software sales just being put
down to piracy? If it is piracy, then is anything being done about it or
are people just complaining.

And to the people who download it: You are killing the Amiga.
