have you run the system tools that actually startup things like the gfx?
ie the monitors section of s:startup-sequence?
Hyperion have made a RAD: disk startup script which puts all needed things
into a minimal RAD: so you can run without a full startup.

it is a small package, yes, but its next day courier. still only a total of
just over 60 ukp. which undercuts almost all other places by 40 ukp. and its
single-sided so fits into either BPPC slot.
