hi,
guess it (P&P costs) bring back the old idea of everyone building up a
purchase list and then everyone buying as a group. hmmm,
letsbuyit.amiga.org anyone? ;-)
if 4 people wanted 64Mb SIMMS then that knocks the P&P down to 2.50 each +
local delivery costs. (around 1.60 ukp per person). you'd probably get a few
quid of the main price when buying in larger numbers (lets say 15 people
wanted memory)
Eyetech, PC and Amiga Inc have tried to do this through user-group buying
but i dont think its taken off successfully, n'est pas?
