My point was that going by the ads in the mag Eyetech are the only one-stop
suppler and the cost of a PPC/bvision is approx 8 times the cost of a 030
upgrade which was the in upgrade a few years back, I only scrimped up the
dosh for one of those this year as the 030 was required for OS3.5. Also
reading the ad gives the impression that the only monitor that they sell
which is capable of displaying the full range of output from the Bvision
also happens to be the most expensive one and unfortunatly what I know of
the black art of hooking up a monitor means if a suppler say this one then
thats the one I will pick. As to your point about shopping around thats only
OK if you know what you are doing, since if you don't you are some what
constrained to purchasing from a single source as in the event of problems
technical advice is easier to come by,whereas if you by from different
suppliers you could find yourself in the situation where "You can't use that
with ours mate" and having to fork out more.
