Well, first off I presume sound in other programs work right? If
you get no sound out of anything (even the standard amiga error
bleep) then there could be a problem with the speaker system / hifi
you use.
If all the other programs work, then the one way to test your sound
datatype is to try loading an IFF sample into multiview. If that
doesn't work, send me a list of the files in your devs/datatypes and
classes/datatypes drawer and I'll send you any files you're missing
:)
