I have to say that the author of Payback is doing some good favours
to himself and the bands. Imagine if it took off on platforms that
were more popular. It would introduce a whole new way of making
small upcoming bands famous and liked and keep bands away from blood
sucking record companies in the bands' early existence. The games
should provide detailed information in the manual etc. to plug the
bands but not look like a sponsorship.
It is a good idea and with probable closure of Napster and the theory
behind it's real use, is a good alternative for musicians.
