1) Napster isnt yet closed.
2) theres now a public opensource Napster serve, so expect the sevice that
napster supplied to now be duplicated 1000-fold over the internet
(napster never stored MP3's themselves, they simply provided a database of
MP3 songs on everyones machines who used the napster client)
- in short, the record industry have just screwed themselves by trying to
close down the one single, controllable, MP3 charing device.
...oh, and theres also Gnutella - designed to share more than one single
type of file.
