I have noticed an inconsistency with the new asl requester in 3.5.
If you start using the cursor keys (up and down) to select an entry
while the list is loading, and then decide to type in a new name
manually into the filename string gadget (either after the list has
finished loading or during), the asl requester selects (and returns
to the caller) the entry that was previously 'cursored' onto, NOT the
entry that is displayed in the string gadget.
If find this problematic as quite often I am loading files while
compiling. Due to the large amount of CPU being eaten by the compiler
the list loads slowly (Im not complaining about that :-) and if I use
the cursor keys, the above mentioned problems occur. I am loading the
files into Ced.
Anyone else notice or experience this behaviour? I am not running any
requester patches.
