This is an unfortunate design flaw of the requester which I didn't
find a good way to work around. Problem is that the requester can allow
you to select multiple files using the mouse *and* allow you to type the
name of the file to be selected at the same time. And with that requester
type, the name selected from the list takes precedence over the name you
typed.
