Just an aside - I've recently been learning REBOL, you know,
Carl "I invented AmigaOS, me" Sassenrath's weird programming
language. If you just need an easy language for DOING stuff
(as opposed to C where the minutest utility turns into a 3 month
megaproject), then definitely get Rebol, it beats the pants off
Perl and Python, and Blitz as well, for what I've been using it
for. And you don't have to run WinUAE, but you can still
develop or use your program on an Amiga. Great!
