Subject:Alternative Font Directories

Hello!

One of the users of a program of mine suggested that he would like to see my
program supporting alternative font directories much in a way as some paint
programs do i.e. that he could choose a different directory with fonts for
use with my program than FONTS:.

I am using an ASL font requester for selecting fonts and I really see no way
to tell it to display contents of a different directory than FONTS:. I'd ne
very glad if I would be proven wrong.

Does anybody know of a way to force ASL font requester to display contents
of another directory with fonts? Is there any other way of providing an
alternative directory for fonts?

Kind regards
