I agree overdoing it could really slow the Amiga down, but the idea of
vector-based icons does have merits. Now NeXT did it back on 68040s using
DisplayPS, and I'm not sure if that makes sense given that Amiga's target
goes from handhelds on up.
I think Elate does do scalable fonts, if this gives good performance on a
lowend system, then maybe vector based icons are practical.
Can Gary or anyone at Amiga say anything about this yet?
I'm asking because this is the second time this thread has come up.
